3/5th Battalion TF.   Formed at Taunton in March 1916 as a depot and training unit from those TF personnel who were unable to be posted to either the 1/5th or 2/5th Battalions.   Moved to Bournemouth in late 1915.   Re-titled as 5th (Reserve) Battalion TF on 8th April 1916 and absorbed by 4th (Reserve) Battalion TF on 1st September 1916.

4th (Reserve) Battalion TF.   Formed from the 3/4th Battalion TF in April 1916 and stationed at Bournemouth.   Absorbed the 5th (Reserve) Battalion on 1st September 1916.   Moved to Sutton Veney, near Warminster, in March 1917 then to Larkhill at the end of 1917.   Moved to Oswestry in April 1918 where it remained for the rest of the war.

9th (Reserve) Battalion.   Formed at Plymouth in October 1914 as a service battalion, part of K4.   Moved to St Austell in December 1914.   Re-organised at a Reserve Battalion in April 1915 and moved to Wareham in May 1915.   Moved to Swanage in August 1915.   On 1st September 1916 it became 45th Training Reserve Battalion and lost the regimental affiliation with the Somerset Light Infantry.
