Second Lieutenant.   Seconded to 16th Company Machine Gun Corps.   Killed in action in France on 12th October 1916.   Aged 17.

 

LAW, Edward Michael Fitzgerald

Lieutenant.   1st Battalion.   Killed in action in France on 11th August 1918.   Aged 20.

 

LEISHMAN, Walter Algernon

Captain.   3rd (Reserve) Battalion (returned POW).   Died of illness in UK on 19th February 1919.   Aged 27.

 

LE MARCHANT, Henry Neville

Captain.   5th Battalion.   Killed in action at Gallipoli between 7th and 11th August 1915.   Aged 33.

 

LE SAUVAGE, Ernest Davies

Second Lieutenant, MiD.   Seconded to Central Flying School, Royal Flying Corps.   Accidentally killed whilst flying in UK on 30th May 1916.   Aged 19.

 

LEAT, Edwin John

Second Lieutenant.   6th Battalion.   Killed in action in France on 8th June 1918.   Aged 33.

 

LEMON, Lionel Evelyn Theodore

Second Lieutenant.   6th Battalion.   Killed in action in France on 12th April 1917   Aged 19.

 

LESLIE, Richard Fitzgerald William Ferris

Major.   5th Battalion.   Killed in action at Gallipoli on 22nd August 1915.   Aged 45.

 

LINDOW, Edwin

Second Lieutenant.   6th Battalion.   Died of wounds in France on 11th August 1916.   Aged 22.

 

LINDSEY, Douglas

Lieutenant.   5th Battalion.   Killed in action in France on 17th December 1917.   Aged 24.

 

LITSTER, Hugh Sinclair

Second Lieutenant.   2nd Battalion .   Died of wounds in Mesopotamia on 20th April 1916.   Aged 26.

 

LLOYD, Gwion Llewelyn Bowen

Captain.   5th Battalion.   Killed in action at Gallipoli on 11th August 1915.   Aged 27.
