CLARKE, Ian Alexander

Captain.  Royal Army Medical Corps, attached to 1st Battalion.  Killed in action in France on 16th November 1916.   Aged 23.

 

 

COWLEY, Frederick John Bodenham

Second Lieutenant.  Gloucestershire Regiment, attached to 1st Battalion.  Killed in action in France on 11th August 1918.   Aged 23.

 

 

COWPER, Geoffrey Moore

Captain, MiD.   Royal Army Medical Corps, attached to 5th Battalion.   Died of wounds in France on 3rd October 1918.   Aged 27.

Second Lieutenant.   Hampshire Regiment, attached to 1st Battalion.   Killed in action in France on 11th August 1918.   Aged 20.

Second Lieutenant, MC.  East Surrey Regiment, attached to 6th Battalion.  Died of wounds in France on 8th August 1918.   Aged 22.

 

HOUGHTON, George

Second Lieutenant.   West Yorkshire Regiment, attached to 6th Battalion.   Killed in action in France on 27th August 1918.   Aged 36.

 

JOY, Thomas Cyril Bruce

Captain.  Devonshire Regiment, attached to 2nd Battalion.  Killed in action in Mesopotamia on 11th December 1915.  Aged 29.

 

 

KAY, The Rev William Henry

Captain, MC.  Army Chaplain's Department, attached to 5th Battalion.  Killed in action in France on 5th April 1918.  Aged 29.

 

 

KELLY, Robert Maitland

Lieutenant.   Royal North Devon Hussars, attached to 5th Battalion.   Killed in action in France on 11th January 1917.   Aged 35.

 

MORTIMER, Cyril Owen

Second Lieutenant.   Indian Army Reserve of Officers, attached to 6th Battalion.   Killed in action in France on 1st April 1918.   Aged 25.

 

MORTIMORE, Owen John

Captain.   Devonshire Regiment, attached to 2nd Battalion.   Killed in action in Mesopotamia on 22nd November 1915.   Aged 37.

 

PEEL, Thomas Alfred

Lieutenant, MiD.   Royal Army Medical Corps, attached to 5th Battalion.   Died of wounds in Greece on 24th August 1915.   Aged 29.

 

PETERSON, George Benjamin

Second Lieutenant.   East Yorkshire Regiment, attached to 6th Battalion.   Killed in action in France on 31st March 1918.   Aged 22.

 

 POWELL, Henry Mitchell

Captain.  South Staffordshire Regiment, attached to 1st Battalion.  Killed in action in Belgium on 9th December 1914.  Aged 31.

 

PRESTON, Leslie George

Captain, MC*.  Queen's Own (Royal West Kent Regiment), attached to 6th Battalion.  Died of wounds in France on 10th July 1918.  Aged 27.

 

 

SWEETMAN, Michael James Joseph

Major, MiD**.  Worcestershire Regiment, attached to 2nd Battalion.  Died of wounds in Mesopotamia on 27th November 1915.  Aged 51.

 

WORTHINGTON, Claude Swanwick

Lieutenant Colonel, MiD*.  Manchester Regiment, commanding 5th Battalion.  Died of wounds in France on 14th October 1918.   Aged 41.
