Notes:

1.   CONNER was wounded in action on 8th May 1915 whilst serving with 2nd Battalion and taken prisoner by the Germans.   He was subsequently repatriated due to severity of wounds.

2.   JONES was wounded in March 1918 whilst serving with 13th Battalion.

3.   POLLOCK was medically discharged on 8th April 1915 whilst serving with 8th Battalion.   He is not commemorated by the CWGC.

4.   POOLE was wounded in action whilst serving with 1/6th Battalion.   Seconded to Cambridge University at time of death.

5.   BEAUMONT relinquished commission on 19th July 1917 due to illness whilst attached to Royal Fusiliers.

6.   POPE saw active service with 13th Battalion.   Relinquished commission on 18th May 1918 due to ill health.

7.   INGLIS previously served with 1st Battalion, Gambia Coy West African Frontier Force, MGC and Tank Corps.

8.   FOTHERGILL was taken as a POW by the Germans on 25th March 1918 whilst serving with 2/5th Battalion.   He was repatriated to the UK on 25th December 1918.

9.   MACHON was wounded on 6th September 1916 at Ginchy serving with 9th Battalion Devonshire Regiment.   He then served with 3rd (Reserve) Battalion until retirement on 18th February 1919 and placed on Retired List.

10. HILL served with 18th Battalion and 2/5th Battalion prior to retirement on 19th October 1920.

11. LANE saw active service with 12th Battalion and served at HQ Ireland Command Depot, Ballykinlar prior to retirement on 10th December 1917.  He is not commemorated by the CWGC.
