Second Lieutenant.   Attached to 7th Battalion Royal West Kent Regiment.   Killed in action in France on 4th April 1918.   Commemorated on Pozieres Memorial.  Aged 24.

 

WALLER, Thomas Henry Whalley

Lieutenant.  14th Battalion.  Killed in action in Belgium on 22nd October 1917.  Commemorated on Tyne Cot Memorial.  Aged 21.

Second Lieutenant.  Attached to 17th Battalion Royal Welsh Fusiliers.  Died of wounds in France on 11th July 1916.  Buried in Heilly Station Cemetery, Mericourt-L'Abbe.  Aged 21.

Second Lieutenant.   1st Battalion.   Killed in action in France on 22nd December 1914.   Buried in Brown’s Road Military Cemetery, Festubert.   Aged 24.

Lieutenant.   8th Battalion.   Killed in action in France on 30th July 1916.   Commemorated on Thiepval Memorial.   Aged 21.

 

WARD, Francis Welsford

Captain.   1/4th Battalion.   Killed in action in Belgium on 9th October 1917.   Commemorated on Tyne Cot Memorial.   Aged 30.

 

WARNER, Thornton Sparr

Captain.   8th Battalion.   Killed in action in France on 23rd July 1916.   Commemorated on Thiepval Memorial.   Aged 33.

 

WARREN, Ivan John

Second Lieutenant.   1st Battalion.   Died of wounds in Belgium on 8th March 1918.  Buried in Haringhe (Bandaghem) Military Cemetery.   Aged 26.

WHYATT, Albert Allen

Second Lieutenant.   8th Battalion.   Killed in action in France on 30th May 1918.   Commemorated on Soissons Memorial.   Aged 22.

 

WIGGIN, Douglas Holme

Second Lieutenant.   1st Battalion.   Died of wounds in France on 23rd December 1914.   Buried in Lillers Communal Cemetery Extension.   Aged 19.

 

WILKINS, Mervyn Sydney

Lieutenant.   1/6th Battalion.   Killed in action in Italy on 16th June 1918.   Buried in Magnaboschi British Cemetery.   Aged 25.

 

WILLOUGHBY, Edwin Charles

Captain.   7th Battalion.   Died of wounds at Gallipoli on 8th August 1915.   Commemorated on the Helles Memorial.   Aged 34.

WOOKEY, William Nehemiah

Captain, MiD.   8th Battalion.   Killed in action in Belgium on 26th July 1917.   Buried in La Laiterie Military Cemetery, near Kemmel.   Aged 26.

 

WORTHINGTON, Richard Fitzpatrick

Captain.  2/5th Battalion.  Died of wounds in UK on 4th May 1917.  Buried in Lower Cam (St Bartholomew) Churchyard.  Aged 36.

 

WRIGHT, Joseph Herbert

Captain, MC.   8th Battalion.   Killed in action in France on 25th March 1918.   Commemorated on the Arras Memorial.   Aged 33.

 

WYATT, John

Second Lieutenant.   2/5th Battalion.   Died of wounds in France on 25th October 1918.   Buried in Vertain Communal Cemetery Extension.   Aged 26.
