Second Lieutenant.   1/5th Battalion.   Died of wounds in France on 8th November 1918.   Buried in Busigny Communal Cemetery Extension.   Aged 30.

 

JACKSON, Daniel Talbot

Second Lieutenant.   2/5th Battalion.   Killed in action in France on 30th September 1918.   Buried in Laventie Military Cemetery, La Gorgue.   Aged 22.

 

JAMES, Donald Croft

Second Lieutenant.   2/4th Battalion.   Killed in action in France on 19th July 1916.   Commemorated on Thiepval Memorial (Note 1).   Aged 19.

 

JAMES, Samuel Forest

Second Lieutenant.  8th Battalion.  Killed in action in France on 18th November 1916.  Commemorated on Thiepval Memorial.  Aged 22.

 

JEUNE, Hugo St Helier

Captain.   12th Battalion.   Died of wounds in France on 12th May 1917.   Buried in Bruay Communal cemetery Extension.   Aged 23.

 

JOHNSON, Geoffrey Robert

Second Lieutenant.   7th Battalion.   Died of wounds in Gallipoli on 7th August 1915.   Commemorated on Helles Memorial.   Aged 22.

 

JOHNSON, Harold

Second Lieutenant.  Seconded to 75th Company Machine Gun Corps.  Died of wounds in France on 14th July 1916.  Buried in Warloy-Baillon Communal Cemetery Extension.  Aged 25.

 

JONES, Charles Lambert

Lieutenant.   10th Battalion.   Accidentally killed in France on 15th June 1916.   Buried in Maroc British cemetery, Grenay.   Aged 20.

 

JONES, Hugh

Captain, MC.   Sick List formerly 13th Battalion.   Died of illness in UK on 10th November 1918.   Buried in Lydney (St Mary’s) Churchyard.   Aged 29.

1.   2Lt D C JAMES should properly be commemorated on the Loos Memorial.
